Angela chaired her first meeting of Worplesdon Flood Forum last week as residents from around the area came together to discuss flooding, sewage and drainage issues.
It is one of four flood forums that Angela chairs and seeks to bring together agencies and local authorities to provide co-ordinated solutions to flooding problems.
The Worplesdon Parish Council offices were full on Friday with residents from all parts of Worplesdon ward and a wide variety of flooding problems were discussed and actioned.
"These forums are so important for those stuck in the misery of flooding events in their area," said Angela. "The only way we find fixes to these problems is by working together. It is so often the case that responsibility for them is unclear and establishing that is half the battle.
"I'd like to thank Worplesdon Parish Council and all the residents who came along, as well as the councils and agencies who give up their time to listen to residents' concerns."
