Angela joined residents who at another Worplesdon Flood Forum walkabout on Friday morning.
She heard about issues around Perry Hill from the Holly Lane roundabout to Rickford and Goose Rye Road. Once again, Gaynor and Victoria at Worplesdon Parish Council did an amazing job of organising the time of everyone to keep it focused on action.
She also extended thanks to the Environment Agency for being represented and taking the trouble to see on the ground the problems that get reported to them. But she added: "Surrey County Council needs to send along someone from highways in future - representatives from the environment team are always welcome but there needs to be a presence to advise on highways issues because so much of the flooding is concerned with roads and road schemes.
"Hopefully we can ensure that happens in the future. But altogether a great session and my team and I will follow up on the actions.
