Angela was delighted to join Crispin Blunt MP and Jonathan Lord MP at a briefing from the Surrey Civilian Military Partnership Board where she heard how MPs can help the work of the board through communication with the Surrey Armed Forces Champion Shannon Saise-Marshall and promoting wider awareness of the Armed Forces Covenant.
In particular, members of the Armed Forces and their loved ones can make use of the Forces Connect App, which is designed to link users in four easy clicks to organisations offering immediate help and support across a wide range of services. The information is updated monthly, there are no charges or adverts and there's no need to enter any personal data. It's a great way to support our Armed Forces personnel and their families.
