Angela enjoyed a fantastic visit to Watts Gallery - Artists' Village with Lord Parkinson, minister at Department for Culture, Media and Sport and it was lovely to meet so many staff and volunteers, who all make this place special.
There are some things that can be done to help this amazing place, which works with many, many different organisations to bring art as an outlet to people who have disability, illness or other challenges. One of the gallery and village's issues is accessibility, sitting in Compton and away from Guildford town. The distances are small but public transport is patchy and so some way of helping people get to Watts Gallery from other parts of the area would help enormously.
The organisation is always looking for more volunteers across a wide range of roles. If you think this is something that you might enjoy, you can get involved using the link below:

In the past, generous charitable donations have topped up government money. This is now more important than ever to help Watts Gallery continue to thrive. So whether you are able to donate, or are perhaps able to be a corporate partner, do have a look at the link below and see if you can help:

This gallery is an artistic treasure on our doorstep and Angela will continue to do everything she can to keep it successful into the future.
