Angela presented her Animal (Low Welfare Activities Abroad) Bill to the House of Commons and is delighted that it has now passed third reading and will go onto the House of Lords.
She has been inundated with support from people who care about this subject both from Guildford and further afield. Several organisations working for animal welfare and the humane treatment of animals across the world have also voiced their support - thank you so much for that and for everything else that you do.
Angela would also like to thank other Members of Parliament who spoke during the third reading debate for their contributions. MPs are working cross-party to bring an end to the ability to sell activities that involved cruel and barbaric treatment to animals as part of holidays, often without those tourists knowing.
She hopes that supporters of all parties will continue to follow this bill closely through the Lords and she look forward to seeing it reach its final stages.
