This week is Nuclear Week in Parliament and I was delighted to visit KBR at the Nuclear Industry Association’s Skills and Apprenticeships Fair today, after being invited by some of my constituents.
Thank you to Rosie, Samuel and Duncan for talking to me about what KBR does and the opportunities for young professionals in nuclear innovation.
Our nuclear industry employs over 300 people in Surrey, with a variety of apprenticeships and skills options available. I encourage all young people in Guildford to look into these pathways further, at a time when the nuclear sector is growing and becoming more important for our energy security.
