We have seen a number of changes in Guildford with the closure of Debenhams and House of Fraser and the new North Street and St Mary's Wharf developments approved.
I recently met with Hugo Fenwick of Fenwick's department stores to receive an update on their efforts to bring their brand to our town.
Whilst many of the details are commercially sensitive, I will do everything I can to support them, including contacting the freeholder and working with SCC Leader Tim Oliver about economic regeneration opportunities for our town, High Street and village centres.
