Angela was recently contacted by a constituent in Guildford whose family had experienced the devastation of SUDC, the Sudden Unexplained Death of a Child aged between 1 and 18 years old.
These are deaths that remain unexplained even after investigation, compounding the grief of the families with worry about whether something is unseen that could affect other young family members.
And while SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) or cot death, has been widely researched with more than 12,000 papers published, SUDS has seen only 50 papers published.
Angela said: "I will raise awareness among colleagues and government about this under-recognised medical issue and the need to fund research into it.
"I would like to thank the constituent who wrote to me movingly about their experience and would encourage everyone to click on the link here and watch the short video from SUDC UK."
