Angela returned to Burpham to see progress on flooding issues and hotspots that they have been dealing with in the Burpham Flood Forum. Thanks to the residents who came along and to Guildford Borough Council for arranging to be there too.

Angela enjoyed a fantastic visit to Watts Gallery - Artists' Village with Lord Parkinson, minister at Department for Culture, Media and Sport and it was lovely to meet so many staff and volunteers, who all make this place special.

Angela's Animal Welfare Bill passes third reading

Angela presented her Animal (Low Welfare Activities Abroad) Bill to the House of Commons and is delighted that it has now passed third reading and will go onto the House of Lords.

Angela had a call today with Thames Water who gave her a very helpful update on infrastructure work relating to particular concerns raised on behalf of Alfold residents.

Surrey Ukrainian School book reading is moving event

It was such a privilege for Angela to join nearly 50 Ukrainian children – all displaced by the war – attending a special event at The Hive in Guildford with best-selling children’s author Di Redmond.

Celebration of apprentice skills in Guildford
