I have written Zohib Sheikh, a local pharmacist from Woking who recently applied to open a new pharmacy in Burpham, in support of his appeal of the ICB’s decision to reject his proposal.

I am aware that thousands of residents across Guildford and the surrounding villages who were affected by last year’s water outages are rightly concerned by Thames Water’s performance.

A huge thank you to Henrietta West for inviting me back to listen to residents of Lordshill Common and Norley Lane to discuss ongoing road safety and road surface quality issues.

On Friday 26th January, I was pleased to visit Cranleigh C of E Primary School and meet Kate Pelazza, the Headteacher, to discuss community cohesion.

Visiting primary schools and seeing young people striving to make their dreams come true is one of my favourite parts of being a Member of Parliament, and my visit to Worplesdon Primary School on Friday was no exception.

It was fantastic to welcome Kemi Badenoch MP, Secretary of State for Business and Trade, to Guildford High Street and Tunsgate.

Kemi came to visit local independent businesses which are contributing to the local economy and helping Guildford thrive.

I have today written again to both Karen McDowell, Acting Chief Executive of the NHS Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care Board (ICB), and Marc Donovan OBE, Director of Healthcare Development and Public Affairs, following his visit to the Merrow Park and Epsom Road pharmacies in December 2023.

On 11th January 2023, I visited Alfold having been made aware of sewage issues near the sports club and around the village.

On Friday 15th December 2023, Jeremy Hunt MP and I welcomed over one hundred residents of Guildford, Godalming, and all areas affected by the recent water outages to a public meeting with Thames Water.

Last Friday, I visited Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital, where I was glad to meet Justine Duda, the Health System Director, and Dan England, the Director of Operations.
